Thank you for your commitment to protecting the lands of Ship Harbour Long Lake. This candidate wilderness area represents a great step towards ensuring the ecological integrity of the Eastern Shore, and our province as a whole. I would like to express my support for ensuring the minimum protection of at least 14,000 ha in the area of Ship Harbour Long Lake towards meeting the provincial goal of protecting 12% of Nova Scotia.
