Join CPAWS and the St Mary's University Environmental Society, Tuesday, February 24th in the McNally Theatre Auditorium for a screening of "Forbidden Forest".Before the movie, you're invited to a reception to meet the members of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, Nova Scotia Chapter (CPAWS-NS) and learn about their extensive efforts in wilderness protection.
The reception is is also the perfect opportunity to meet the WildernessAid organizers and pick up a registration package for the next WildernessAid event: a pledge-by-km fundraiser hike on March 6th.
Last but not least, enter your ballot into the draw prize for your chance to win a $100 Mountain Equipment Coop gift certificate, a $50 MEC gift certificate, stainless steel water bottle, SMUES Better-Sided Notebook, Campus Green Guide, or Just Us! Fair-trade/Organic Chocolate Bars. Draw ballots are only available during the reception, so be sure to show up early!
Reception starts at 6pm. Movie starts at 7pm. Admission by donation. All donations received will go directly towards protecting Nova Scotia's fragile wild lands through the help of our friends at CPAWS Nova Scotia.
