About us
CPAWS-NS is the pre-eminent, non-profit wilderness protection organization in Nova Scotia. As part of a national conservation organization with over 20,000 committed members, CPAWS-NS has helped to conserve over 600,000 hectares of Nova Scotia's most treasured wild places in parks and other protected areas, as well as remarkable areas of the ocean, including The Gully and deep-sea coral reefs.
We are a grassroots organization that works collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and uses science, education, and advocacy to approach conservation issues.
