TAKE ACTION: Give Feedback on New Protected Areas Consultation
The Nova Scotia government is seeking public feedback on a new Protected Areas Consultation until July 28, 2026. If this is important to you, let the province know that you support this positive step, and that more action is needed for protected areas in Nova Scotia. This is good, but not enough.
To provide general feedback, fill out question (1) “all lands under consultation”. Following this question, you then have the opportunity to provide feedback on each individual site under consultation. You can leave blank any questions that you do not wish to fill out.
The consultation includes 13 sites across Nova Scotia that are important for conservation; visit the main landing page and learn more about each of these areas through the button below.
Please consider subscribing to our e-list to receive updates about Nova Scotia’s wilderness and the next call-to-action.
CPAWS is continually striving to establish protected areas on land and in the ocean, improve management of existing protected areas, and make progress on tackling climate change and protecting species at risk.
We thank you for your support.
